Commercial Gutter Clearance: Fleet Walk Shopping Centre Torquay.
One of our hardest and most complex challenges to date was to clear the debris from high level guttering, gullies and ACO Channels at Fleet Walk Shopping Centre.
With almost a mile worth of guttering and gullies, multiple service areas and 16 sections of gullies on top of the building to clear, it was not going to be an easy task.
Our high reach specialist gutter vacuum was required to attempt to reach the hardest and most inaccessible guttering, some of which were over 30ft high.
A lot of the guttering was overflowing with grass and debris which made the task even more challenging with the roots growing into all the joints of the gutters.
At the top of the building, we had to manually clear debris from long gullies. Looking out onto Torquay town centre with only a small wall between us and a sheer drop, harnesses were required to be worn at all times, but with hard work we managed to clear all the gullies.
With a lot of careful planning, training and hard work, we managed to clear almost a mile of guttering/gullies.
After almost 100 hours of hard work and a ton worth of debris removed, we were very happy with the results.
